MHARI began with an observation.
That the most interesting forms are rarely the obvious ones.
Inspired by overlooked details, sculptural forms and everyday objects, Alay continues to focus on shape before meaning, form before decoration and details that often go unnoticed.
These observations form the foundation of MHARI.
Working in recycled 925 silver and semi-precious stones, the studio approaches jewellery as an exploration of form, memory and material. The process is intentionally considered. Pieces are made to order in Jaipur and produced in limited quantities, preserving the integrity of both design and craftsmanship.
The result is jewellery that feels collected rather than consumed.
Objects designed to hold their relevance long after the moment they were acquired.
The Work
MHARI creates contemporary jewellery through a balance of original design and precise craftsmanship.
Every piece is designed by Alay Somani, crafted in recycled silver and semi-precious stones, and produced in Jaipur by Imraan, whose work has shaped every collection since the studio’s inception. The craft at MHARI is Alay’s vision. The precision is Imraan’s.
Forms are developed independently. Production remains intentionally limited. Quality is non-negotiable.
Because a distinctive design deserves equally distinctive execution.
